Sleep Disorder Treatments

How Do You Treat OSA?

The most effective treatment is PAP therapy. This is considered the gold standard of care. PAP therapy is a noninvasive treatment that gently blows air into your nose or mouth to prevent your airway from collapsing while you are asleep.

PAP therapy is just one of the treatments. Other treatments you may qualify for include: surgical treatment from an ENT (removing excess tissue from your throat; commonly referred to as a UPPP), weight loss, and an oral appliance custom fit from a specialty dentist.

What Benefits Can I Expect From Treatment?

With regular use of PAP or oral appliance you can minimize the impact of OSA. You can expect:
  • Increase in your energy levels and attentiveness during the day
  • Lower blood pressure
  • Decreased risk of stroke and heart attacks
  • Increased effectiveness at home or at work

CPAP Masks:

  • Full face
  • Nasal
  • Pillows
